Lareen Ashbolt has her Bachelor of Music in Voice from the
Melba Conservatorium.
She has been teaching privately
since 2002 with students from the age of five through
to
eighty.
She also teaches voice at Haileybury in Brighton,
the Knox School
of Dance,
and is the Director and Conductor
of the
Berwick venue of
The Australian Youth Choir.
Lareen has performed as a soloist for the Royal Melbourne
Philharmonic Society and has been a member of the choir
since 2001 performing in venues such as The Melbourne Town Hall,
St Paul’s Cathedral, St Pat’s Cathedral and The Sydney Opera House.
She has participated in the recording of the 2005 Myer Spirit of Christmas
Cd with David Hobson and performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London
in 2005 with the Australian Youth Choir’s 30th Anniversary Concert.
In 2006 she performed in the Closing Ceremony Choir for the
Commonwealth Games, and in February 2009 at the Rowville
Bushfire Benefit Concert. |
